For improved stiffness and mechanical properties, a carbon/vinyl ester product is available. FRP rebar significantly improves the longevity of civil engineering structures where corrosion is a major factor.
FRP rebar is high tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and electrical insulation. FRP rebar is also lighter, easier to cut, and more durable than steel rebar, making it ideal for concrete reinforcement in various applications. At the same time, the cost of FRP rebar is lower, saving 30% compared to traditional steel reinforcement.
